The local NPR affiliate (OPB, "Only Polite Bullfeathers" or, as it is sometimes known, Oregon Public Broadcasting) carries a weekly program called "Living on Earth" that today (10/14) carried a reasonably long piece on cohousing, including interviews with one of the architects of a project in the Boston area. Seemed pretty complementary and stressed the shared resources aspect (kitchen, laundry) as the enviro-payoff. Even mentioned (gasp!) the idea of sharing vehicles!!!!!! If your NPR affiliate doesn't carry it you might still ask them to make an exception and try to play it on a one-time basis as part of a local news segment.
