>> I also wonder why N-Street didn't make it into The CoHousing Book - maybe >> the next edition? > This little exchange reminds me once more that it is getting to be time for someone to publish a new book (or series of books)(does anyone remember books?) about cohousing. I imagine that it would include the best of articles from the Journal, some edited discussions from this list, bibliography of masters' and doctoral theses, interviews with people living in various built communities; in short, an anthology of selected helpful stuff about cohousing in the mid-to-late nineties (mostly) in North America. I am a small publisher and know how to put together such a book, even have some ideas about how to get such a book published by a mid-size to major publisher, but I can't take on the editing job any year soon. I would, however be pleased to advise and consult with a writer/editor--perhaps someone who is lurking or posting on this list--who thinks it would be do-able and fun for them. I even believe that a number of people would be willing to invest a few bucks to support the making of such a book, so that the author/editor would not have to do it entirely as a labor of love. Interested people should write me individually, and I'll get back to the list if there is anything to report. Joani Blank jeblank [at] hooked.net
