wind towers

I got an idea from one of the old Shelter magazines for cooling
systems to check out with ya. Using the thermal chimney effect, one
could use the moving heat column to suck in cooled air from a tunnel
buried in the ground outside a house. The air should be at around 50
degrees F from the tunnel. Auxiliary fans could be added in the tower, if
necessary.
The question is Would there be a problem of increased mold spores in
the air from the surface of the ground tunnel ? Would this be a hazard ?
Anybody with technical knowledge in this realm ?
