Dear Scott, his friend, and Peter, Yours was a response that I thought I might get based on the general liberal bias that I've percieved in the cohousing movement. One of the reasons that I posted the message was simply to show that there's political / economic diversity in this cohousing movement, just as there is all sorts of other types of diversity. My background has been in businesses which were thoroughly ethical, treated their employees very fairly, produced high quality products, respected the environment, and made good profits (no apology). It seems that you and I differ radically in our opinions about just how broken the market system is. I don't think that this discussion group is the appropriate place to debate political economic beliefs other than those more directly involved in cohousing. I respect your difference of opinion and would ask that you had a greater tolerance of mine. > The person who wrote that message is an incredibly narrow-minded and > self-centered, selfish person.
