The  CoHousing Company is looking to hire an architect. One of the things I
share here at Doyle Street is my access to this list. So I'm turning my
computer over to Chuck this evening to tell you about this great
opportunity. Take it away Chuck!

Howdy folks.  We at the Cohousing Company are happily very busy these days.
A bad time for an architect in our office to go off and get his PhD after
three years with us.  We miss him already.
Consequently we are putting out a national search for the very best
architect we can find. 
Head, Heart, Hands as they teach at the Waldorf School. HEAD:  Someone who
is smart and can pick up things like our Mini-CAD program. Someone with real
skills as an architect.   HEART:  Someone who first and foremost always
cares.  Someone who does the work they believe in. (Compassion gets us
through a lot of the difficult jobs, such as paticipatory work, especially
related to low income housing.)  Someone who always believes in doing the
right thing. Someone who truly appreciates  how beautiful the built
environment can be and believes that if we are going to rip a tree from the
forest,  we must honor and even enoble its sacrifice by creating something
with social purpose.  Hand:  Someone who has had direct experience putting
the built environment together -- with their own two hands.  Someone who is
experienced with and comfortable with the costruction site.  Someone whom
builders will respect as part of their team.  Someone who has had
construction administration experience.
