What is the history of Unitarian-Universalism in Cohousing?  Are UU's 
overrepresented in cohousing communities (considering their 
vanishingly small numbers in the world at large)?  Does UU-cohousing 
cross over the line into an "intentional community"?


At Sharingwood, UU's are the primary religous order, with 10 out of  34 
adults.  At least 3 of them are very active in the church, going to regional 
events, etc.  However at Sharingwood, religous/spiritual activities are the 
realm of the individual, and in no way part of the group identity.  I think 
before you could call UU-cohousing an intentional community you would have 
to have UU be the identified group religion, and delibrately base your group 
values on UU.  This of course would limit your membership and all the 
effects thereof.
