Press Release: New Urbanism Conference Scheduled February 1-3 in North
Carolina.

Charlotte, NC...The technique of Traditional Town Planning, a Conference /
Workshop about the New Urbanism Movement, will be held at the UNCC uptown
campus at CityFair on February 1st through 3rd 1996. Municipal officials,
developers, builders, lenders, realtors,planners and all interested citizens
are encouraged to attend this 2 1/2 day program. The program will include
lectures, panel discussions, a local tour and case studies.

Presenters: Andres Duany, Duany Plater-Zyberk Architects & Town Planners;
Peter Katz, author *New Urbanism*; Joe Molinaro, National Association of
Homebuilders; Walter Kulash, Gladding, Jackson, Lopez, Kirchner Engineers &
