Hello out there - this is a follow-up to my post a few months back. We now
are in escrow on a new piece of land!! and are looking for a few good
families to join us.

We are in Sebastopol, Sonoma County, CA - about an hour north of San
Francisco. According to the famous Luther Burbank, "the chosen spot of all
the earth as far as nature is concerned." And he was right! Buzz was
jealous when he heard I was picking tomatoes in November and planting my
winter garden.

We're on the gorgeous Sonoma coast, in the middle of wine country, and
surrounded by agriculture of all kinds. A number of year-round farmers
markets offer a huge array of local produce. Also have fantastic
restaurants, tons of entertainment (movies, music, dancing, etc.) all around
plus a short drive to the City. Pretty great weather too - yet a short drive
to skiing in the Sierras. We have more nonprofits than almost anyplace else,
which tells you a bit about the kind of people that live here.

We are in escrow on two beautiful acres of land in the city limits of
Sebastopol - on the rural fringe, yet walking distance to town and the
community park & pool. It's a small friendly town. The land has oak trees
that we'll save. We plan to build 14 units - probly duplexes and triplexes -
and of course a common house. We've met with the neighbors and they seem
mostly like great people.

We currently have about 9 households on board and are looking for a few more.
We are especially encouraging families with children as we need a few more
kids to play with the ones we have. (And to play with us big kids too!)

If you'd like more info, you can email me at MartyR707 [at] aol.com (hope this
gets out before the list is down!)
