"Consensus" is like "democracy", a word chopped, beat and stuffed into a box that fits a group's desires. When I was young in Los Angeles, I learned that when my street friends said "bad" it often meant a good thing, "cool" meant something a person had a warm attachment for, and "love" meant sex. Please don't subvert consensus. If your group must use a vote to get on with business, then a consensus seeking process which looks for group consent is valid. Embrace it, don't rename it what it isn't. Save that for the Central Intelligence Agency. Todd gets an "A" for accurate. Look it up!
