Okay, let's do a survey. I am asking if one self-appointed person from each
cohousing community would please send me, NOT THE LIST, an email letter
containing info about household composition in your community. I will
summarize the data, post my summary here and ask Don to publish it in the
Journal as well. If you are in a group where more than one person subscribes
to coho-l, please talk amongst yourselves to decide who is willing to
respond. THANK YOU!

Here's the question: How many of each of the following household "types"
currently live in your community?

1.Two parent families with one or more children
2. Single parents, women. Single parents, men
3. Single men under 60. Over 60
4. Single women under 60. Over 60
5. Gay couples. Lesbian couples
6. "Out" gay, lesbian or bisexual single people
7. Two or more unrelated adults (not in partnerships) sharing a dwelling.
8. Other. (Please explain.)

Also, please tell me the total number of adults over 60, adults under 60,
teenagers, children and infants in your group. (You decide who goes into
which category. This ain't rocket science--it's not any kind of science,
actually--and the data will be in aggregate anyhow.

Remember, If you wish to participate, PLEASE send your response to:
jeblank @hooked.net, NOT to cohousing-l. Thanks
