Is there a national survey form which can be used? >Judy Linton >aa-coho [at] umich.edu Judy, and everyone else who remembers my promised household composition survey--- I have data from 19 o the built or building communities; the compilation and its presentation to you and the rest of the world is getting closer and closer to the top of my to-do list. I do not have info from your (ann arbor) group and perhaps there are others now participating on this list who would like to send info to me about their groups. I already have info from: Muir Commons, Doyle St., Berkeley, Southside Park, Jewell Hill (soon to be newname), Monterey, Old Oakland (Swan's Mkt.), Cantines Island, Pioneer Valley, Grell, Sharingwood, Mimosa, Cardiff Place, Greyrock, Westwood, Acadia, Windsong and Quayside, so, if you are a member of one of those groups don't bother to send me info again. Otherwise, PLEASE DO: Here are the questions: Please give me the numbers of: 1. Two parent families with one or more children 2. Single parents 3. Single men under 60. Over 60. 4. Single women under 60. Over 60 5. Gay couples. Lesbian Couples. 6. "Out" gay, lesbian or bisexual single people. 7. Heterosexual couples with no children or grown children living elsewehere 8. Two or more unrelated adults (not in a partnership) sharing a dwelling. 9. Other (please explain) [ Each household should go into only one of these categories] Also please tell me the total number of: Adults over 60 Adults under 60 Teenagers Children Infants and Toddlers (assign all people under 18 to one of the last three categories arbitrarily, please) Here's a question I didn't ask about before, but now I'm curious. (Communities listed above are welcome to send me this little factoid, if they'd like to): Number of babies who have born while their mothers were in residence in your community. [I visited New View/Honey Hill in W. Acton MA recently and learned that 5 babies have been born there in the last year, the community's first year]
