My two top reasons would be the following:

1)  there is a lot less contention these days (remember Harry?) and so, much
less arguing back and forth and trying to prove points.

2)  More and more of us are BUSY building cohousing!  I know when I joined
the list, I was into conversing and philosophizing and stuff.  Now I barely
have time to brush my teeth!!
