Hello all,

I hope someone can give me some insight into my "problem".   Perhaps some of
you have already responded to my call for a cohousing situation which would
suit my needs and I thank you.

   I've always been one to follow my heart and have moved great distances in
the past to do just that.  However, now I find myself 46, a
single-mom-by-choice (and loving it!) of a toddler and pretty firmly
ensconced in my community.  That is, I have a good support network and people
who I can call friends.  

The Big But, is that I REALLY want to live in a cohousing community,
especially after reading the glowing reports of cohousing life on this list.
 My question:  Is there anyone out there who has actually packed up and moved
away from friends, et al, to start over in a coho community?  I know a lot
depends on individual personality, etc. but if there is someone out there who
has had the experience I'd really like to hear how it has gone for you.
