Do check on your local requirements for hoods needed if you buy a
commercial stove. The hoods required in many locales can cost many
thousands of dollars (perhaps even more than your "bargain" commercial
stove. Also, don't get carried away with bargains in used restaurant
equipment. Decide on how much of a stove you need (higher grade residential
is usually quite sufficient), then shop around for the best deals.
Incidentally, most commercial appliances will only serve to make your
common house look more institutional, not an aesthetic most groups crave.
