I would like to share an excellent resource with you. I have been in communication for over a year with Roy Prince, an architect in Santa Barbara, who maintains a website called: Sustainable Architecture, Building and Culture. It is located at http://www.west.net/~prince/ He has links to many important websites within these topic areas including Cohousing.org, the Sustainable Building Sourcebook and MANY more. I had a link to his page on my original Dragon Belly Farm page that I created in early 1995. I really started communicating with him later when I started thinking about traveling. One of his pet projects is "Building global community through home exchange. Visit http://www.HomeExchange.com/ a vacation and travel home exchange listing and search service. You vacation in my home while I vacation in yours...All around the world. Hundreds of home exchange listings from over 30 countries." Several months ago, we were talking on this list about the idea of exchanging homes for vacations. His forum could be an excellent place to post your home in community for say one in France or Italy or Australia or ..... Maybe he can even create a separate heading just for homes within communities. Check it out and tell me what you think. If you do make contact with him, please tell him I told you about it because I told him I would support his effort. Sanda Everette forming community in San Mateo www.wordrunner.com/sanda
