We are currently taking in new members. We have said to prospective
members that to be in the 'Full On' group they must be willing to
commit to attending meetings regularly, and also participate in at
least one working party to make proposals to the main group. People who
are not willing or able to be so involved can become what we call a
'Laid Back' member. Full On members will get first priority for a
home, Laid Back members get next priority. We're not quite sure what
to do about relatives of the Full On Group- e.g. some members would
like to bring in their aged parents to have their own home in the
Cohousing community. Don't know whether we'll give them any special
priority.

As for separating couples, or grown-up children, i.e. people who are
already part of the community but want a separate home of their own
within it, I guess we will have to have a special policy, and maybe
priority over the general waiting list.

Currently we have no site so we have no homes to offer yet, although we
are hoping to find a site for around 26 homes.

And yes please I'd like to see a copy of your waiting list policy!
