I reccommend the following books: Resolving Conflicts within others and within yourself Gini Graham Scott. This book is really excellent, full of all kinds of practical ideas and tools. The Mediation Process : Practical Strategies for Resolving Conflict (Jossey-Bass Conflict Resolution Series)"Christopher W. Moore This book also has some very good, hands on practical sort of teachings for mediation.. The Mediator's Handbook Jennifer E. Beer, Eileen Stief; >From Conflict to Cooperation : How to Mediate a Dispute" Beverly Potter, Phil Frank; These books were all recommended to me by a family counselor who does conflict mediation. You can order them all from any bookstore or online from www.amazon.com Eventually the Intentional Communties Resource Pages will have an article specifically on conflict mediation techniques. Until then, the paper on Communication and conflicts gives some ideas. Check it out at http://www.infoteam.com/nonprofit/nica/resource.html Check the group process folder. Rob Sandelin
