There is a huge range of models with very different designs, intended uses, and price ranges. In general, the small and single compartment units, such as many of the Sun Mars, might not work. One may need separate digestion chambers, which basically means they have to be designed into the building and take up more than one level. This is like the Clivus, Carousel, and Phoenix models, as well as site built designs. All of the Alternative Building mail order companies (Jade Mountain 800.442.1972, Real Goods 800.762.7325, etc) list many models in their catalogs and can give minimal advice.
