Please, I felt the need at add my 2 cents regarding "RELUCTANT husbands"
thread...
There is NO intent to jump to a blame thread, so I shall consider Mark's
word choice ("bad husband") simply unfortunate.
My sense of the original comment was how different the genders are in
their information gathering process, and what helps them decide in
favour of cohousing, and how this translates into differing timelines.
PLEASE allow that this "gender" brush is deliberately broad in order to
make a point and not intended to pigeonhole every case :) In fact, such
a brush could also be labelled "childless/ with child", "single/
coupled" etc., etc. (get the point?)

I am definitely a KEEN people observer, and in my presently somewhat
limited exposure to coho, there is a comment/focus point I've heard so
often I could script it as follows:

"male person": Where are the boundaries? How will this affect my
privacy?
AT YOUR BACK DOOR. IT WON'T REALLY.
Oh, okay. Yeah, let's do this...look at all these benefits.....

"female person": Where are the boundaries? How much work will I have to
do to sustain this?
AT YOUR BACK DOOR. IT ALL BALANCES OUT IN THE LONG RUN.
Oh,okay. Yeah, let's do this..look at all the benefits...

IMHO applies here!
Have a great weekend. TORONTO is crisp and sunny today as our first
winter rainstorm fades away, leaving barer trees, but still enough
leaves to justify postponing raking for while...
