Hi all! On behalf of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of The Cohousing Network, I am organizing a "round table" discussion meeting w/ Jim Leach of Wonderland Hill Development Company. As many of you know, Jim has built more cohousing communities than any other developer in the US & Canada and probably quite a few other places. Jim will be here in Washington, DC for the Spring meeting of the National Association of Home Builders this coming weekend. He has generously offered to meet with building professionals to discuss strategies for building cohousing communities. If you are a building or housing professional (e.g. developer, builder, architect, or city planner, etc.) and would like to join this discussion please call me at 202 546 4654 or email me at: zabaldo [at] earthlink.net The meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 15th at Perle's Cafe which is inside the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, 2660 Woodley Rd. (intersection of Connecticut and Woodley Rd.) The hotel is accessible by metro -- Woodley Park/Zoo stop on the Red Line. The hotel's number is: 202-328-2000. Parking at the hotel is pricey: $8.00 for the 1st hour. Please let me know if you would like to attend. This discussion w/ Jim Leach is organized as a free service of The Cohousing Network. -- _______________________ Best -- Ann Zabaldo Zabaldo [at] earthlink.net "If you want to have good ideas, first have lots of ideas, then some of them will be good."
