Cohousing-L Mailing List: Sunward & National Town Meeting

For those who follow coho in the limelight, Sunward Cohousing was a
featured stop on the Southeastern Michigan Sustainability Tour last
Tuesday, May 4.  This was part of the program of the National Town
Meeting for a Sustainable America in Detroit. (www.sustainableamerica.org)

The 'Town Meeting, BTW, was better than I had expected. One highlight
was an impromptu debate between the President of Stonyfield Farm Yogurt
and the Chairman of Dow Chemical on the merits of organic vs. pesticide
driven farming. Guess who the 3000 member audience favored? Al Gore also
made a big splash with his keynote address.
