Cohousing-L Mailing List: Commonhouse dining room tables

Takoma Village is considering round tables with drop-leaves that become 
square tables to be moved together for the commonhouse dining room.

There was a thread on the cohousing list last year about
dining room tables and someone said they were planning on
designing/manufacturing tables for common houses.

Has there been progress in this? What  kinds of tables do people have now?
What works and what doesn't?
