If you "mine" (search) the archives for information on a topic that others might be interested in, feel free to post a message with URL's of the useful messages you find. This is particularly helpful if the messages are spread over time or found by searching for various strings. If you edit the resulting information into a more readable format (such as the "Common House Wisdom" compilation about which Robin Allison posted recently) that document may merit posting on the web site. (The Common House Wisdom compilation will be available on the web.) Consult the webmaster whose address is at the bottom of the page www.cohousing.org about getting information on the web site. The archives of cohousing-L contain a large amount of information, some of which can be helpful to others. Developing means of finding the most useful and relevant information is a challenge. Such efforts as the above are part of the solution. We also hope to develop a more consistant user interface to all of the archives (currently the older archives are only available using the separate gopher format). Also we hope to have one better search engine that will access all of the archives. If you have expertise that would help us accomplish, your assistance would be appreciated.
