Hi, I'm looking for recommendations of persons who could provide a one day training session on Consensus. Our community is considering having a one day retreat in October to help get everyone up to a "level" playing field on consensus. Our group has a wide range of experience and understanding of what a consensus process is, so we would need someone who could navigate through the challenges that a diverse group would pose. I've already left messages with two individuals with whom I have had training, both of whom I like: Zemo Trevathan, who trained our original members on Straight Talk, Consensus and Facilitating; and C.T. Butler (co-author of "On Conflict and Consensus"). Logistics: Date - probably mid-October Place - somewhere in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina (Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill) Group Size - 21 of 22 households on site (hurray!) Consensus experience - quite varied but we do use consensus (formal and informal) to make our business decisions. Cheers, Neal Caidin Eno Commons Cohousing Durham, NC
