Does anyone have any experience using Community Dollars as a medium of exchange within a community? Sort of like Ithaca Dollars. What policies do other communities have? We are thinking of a suggested monthly work expectation that is by honor system. We are also thinking of having the option of buying out of the work expectation (again by honor system) but we worry this will discourage participation and thereby diminish the social benefits of pitching in and working together, taking us one step closer down the road to plain old condo living.
