It's an interesting discussion to explore what may happen socially as an outcome of cohousing. I agree with Liz Stevenson, it becomes unnecessarily imposing when you ask a community to make a decision about whether or not to support a particular lifestyle. You'd triangulise an issue (by drawing in the third party of the cohousing decision making body) that seems to be essentially one between consenting adults.
