I don't think Joani meant that list of questions as a rhetorical exercise. I
certainly don't think every scenario she wrote about was meant to be
acceptable behavior that we should applaud! There are a few situations I
would very much object to, namely the possible pedophilia issue. The erotic
art would be something I'd have to see to decide about. Naked women are one
thing, people doing erotic things to each other would make my son very
uncomfortable-he can't even watch people kissing on t.v. I'd probably ask
him to display those things where my son couldn't see them. I'd also talk to
people one on one, if something bothered me or my kids. Making a community
issue out of people's private choices doesn't work, IMO.

As for that couple living in sin, my son's been asking us to get married for
years. He wants to be in the wedding.
