Since we weren't sure if we would use the cards, I opted for the cheapest
approach.  I bought sheets of colored tag board for just a few dollars (one
of each color).  I then cut the sheets, punched holes in them and put
flexible key chaining (I'm not sure what this is called) through them.  I'm
sure I made at least 50 and I doubt if it cost more than $15-$20.  That was
almost 2 years ago.  They are still in use and in relatively good condition.
In addition, many of our members have taken extras to use as color cards on
their doors:  green -  come on in, yellow - come in if important, red - not
now.  Even little kids who can't read can easily understand the cards.
