Sorry about that duplication-whoops
Monterey Cohousing has an under the counter model - had to - required to be
commercail kitchen, and on the counter was prohibitive because of vents or
something (we are a remodel - not built from scratch)
With Corelle, the racks don't seem that heavy - I have a bad back, -- however,
we are a relatively small group, so that helps. Noat as many loads, but then
fewer people on cleanup.
Steam doesn't appear to be a problem - I just stand back when I open it.
we use some sort of chemical/soap - much investigation, doesn't smell to me,
nor have I heard complaints. No booster that I know of, we have to run it a
couple of times (1:45) - seems very fast, to get up to temp.
Ours isn't exactly quiet, but I don't notice when it goes off (forget to
unload) so it can't be too bad.
I don't remember the brand.
It starts after you open and close the door (so simple) and the soap stuff is
dispensed automatically. I agree, you have to rinse pretty well.
I probably would have seriously considered non-commercial if we could, but we
couldnt.
