I tried the >greenbuilder site, but could not find anything using "Faswall" as a search >word.... > Hi Dave and others interested in Faswall details: The official Faswall site is (surprise!) http://www.faswall.com. Also, there has been a fair bit of discussion on the greenbuilding listserv, and Environmental Building News reviewed the material in 1992 and updated in 1998. You can find all the details by visiting the Environmental Building News site at http://www.ebuild.com and entering "faswall" in the search. By the way, I have no information about the other method that was originally mentioned (Deltec Round House). However, it should be noted that whenever you get away from "standard" materials dimensions and angles, you're adding cost. They don't make plywoood that fits on an octagonal roof without a fair bit of waste. Labor costs are higher if you're making extra cuts too, just because of the the extra time taken. It all adds up, and the building industry is geared toward straight lines and right angles.
