Fences in cohousing, it seems to me, are for private areas, so that people can have privacy in balance with community. It would seem logical to allow unlimited use of fences in areas designated as private areas, like designated back yard areas. People need to be able to get away from community to feel safe in community, and therefore a part of community. Chris ScottHanson
