Cohousing Kick-Off Event
Slideshow Presentation
Saturday, March 11th, 2000, 2:30pm
Southside Park Cohousing
430 T Street, Sacramento


Our cohousing kick-off event will feature Charles Durrett, co-author of =
Cohousing: A Contemporary Approach to Housing Ourselves. Chuck and his =
wife are architects who studied cohousing in Denmark, and were largely =
responsible for bringing the concept to the U.S. He will present a =
general overview of cohousing using a slideshow, and we'll have lots of =
time for questions and answers. Anyone who likes is welcome to go out =
for dinner afterward, continuing the conversation. At the presentation =
we'll also talk in more detail about our specific cohousing project, and =
let folks know about an upcoming planning meeting.

Please join us, even if you are not thinking about cohousing for =
yourself at this time. We ask you also to spread the word among friends =
and family. There is no charge for the event, though we'd gladly accept =
donations to help defray the costs.

Southside Park Cohousing has generously offered us use of their common =
house for the presentation. They are located at 430 T Street (5th & T) =
in Sacramento. The common house is located in the middle of the =
development. Street parking is available.

If you have any questions, please give us a ring at (916) 446-9064. If =
you would like us to get you copies of the flyer to pass on to friends, =
just let us know how many. Please forward this email also to anyone who =
might have interest. I'm grateful for any help you can give in spreading =
the word.
