I agree totally with Kay's comments about the value of e-mail over
face-to-face conversations, and I am someone who tends to dominate
meetings with my verbiage.  There is no doubt in my mind that discussions
are more careful and go into greater depth on e-mail.  Some things are
missed in this format, but those can be added if the decisions and final
discussions still take place in meetings.
