We found that banks, etc. had no objection to the coho friendly language we 
put in  - goals for living, consensus voting, right of first refusal, etc, -  
so long as there was a bottom line which said that if all this stuff fails we 
can fall back on a vote and if we can't find a buyer the seller has teh right 
to put the unit on the open market.     I do think it is important to get the 
coho stuff in - the appropriate balance between the obligations of the 
"Managing Board" and that of the "entire community."   One useful purpose it 
serves is to have the group focus on how these things will work when you are 
dealing with real money, maintenance, bills, etc.

I thought the Cohousing Network was collecting these documents to make them 
available on line.   TCHN people - where are you?
