We agreed at Sharingwood that our commonhouse was a no smoking building.
Alcohol is frequently consumed in the commonhouse without incident and of
course peoples homes are there own domain to do whatever they want.

Hello CoHousers.

I'm new to this list.  My name is Mark Headings and I'm on the membership
team of the Takoma Village CoHousing Project, being built in Washington DC.
I have volunteered to draft the rules for smoking / alcohol / drug matters.

While I found the archived messages of this listserv useful, I'm hoping
there might be some more information out there concerning what sort of
standards / arrangements cohousing communities have made for themselves.
