At Pathways, we actually started with just one, two and three bedroom homes and ended up adding four bedroom homes for those who wanted them. Now there are far more three and four bedroom homes (16) than one and two bedroom homes (8). Also, almost of the homes have been designed to add an extra bedroom later. There seems to be no shortage of folks wanting larger houses in Northampton. I should add that we have many folks who work out of their homes are using one of the bedrooms as an office. Will we have trouble getting rid of the larger homes in the future? I don't know. But with gas prices going up and telecommuting getting easier and easier, we may see more and more people working out of their homes. Roger Berman Pathways Northampton, MA
