while we are talking of scaling down, I can't tell yet, but this looks
interesting.
I recently discovered a relatively new organization called Center for a New
American Dream (www.newdream.org). The focus is to help people reduce their
level of consumption, visibly, as I understand it. Joining gets you a Starter
Kit (haven't seen mine yet) and options for variety of materials, newsletters,
discussions, etc. I discovered it through a column by Donella Meadows (archives
at www.earthdreams.net/articles/dana/archive.shtml) who also happens to be
part of a cohousing group.
This has been a focus of mine for the last few years - slow work, as I tend to
accumulate "stuff".
Anyone have experience with CNAD?
