Cohousing-L Mailing List: Re; Scaling Down

"The Not So Big House" is an excellent resource for cohousers. Though the
houses in that book are acually pretty big - almost all of them are larger
than my current 3-bedroom, 1500 square foot house. The principles, though,
are excellent and well presented and would be a big plus for folks to read
in their cohousing planning and design phase. It did much to alleviate my
fears that a smaller house would necessarily be cramped, cluttered, and
claustrophobia-inducing.

By the way, Sarah Sasanka is speaking at a design conference I'm attending
this weekend. I can't wait!
