Here's another " how do you handle it " question.

   When we were in the development stage and needed CC&R's we used a 
boilerplate condo. format. At the time we were very busy and thought that we 
could modify them later to conform to a cohousing perspective--haven't done 
this yet.
   Now some of our members wish to use the Architectural Review
Article which states such things as.
  Written prior approval of the Board is needed for  any removal or planting 
of trees; any installation or repair to walls , fences etc.
   landscaping plans , including type of sodding, seeding, trees, hedges
shrubs, irrigation etc etc
   I would like to know if other groups enforce these as written or where you 
may give yourselves leeway--Thanks very much for any info you send--Louise
