True, but in marketing or growing or developing, the eye of the beholder is
what you are dealing with. It isn't a question of becoming defensive as much
as realizing that people may be hearing something you don't mean to be
saying and they may not listen long enough to figure that out, or for you to
explain it.

There a lot of words in the English language. Finding the ones with the
right associations, ones that are helpful instead of hurdles, is important.
And it takes a lot of back and forth, which is what this list is good for.

NEW TOPIC but related some months go we were working on a one sentence
definition/explanation of cohousing. When I lost my hard drive I lost the
email related to that. Does anyone remember what that sentence was?

Where it is a beautiful day. Our board retreat is over. The regional board
is still meeting. And the ditch digger is still outside my window grinding
away. You would think this was going to be an Olympic size hot tub.
