I think there are a lot of former movement people in cohousing - in fact we
joke about being a bunch of retired hippies at Cambridge Coho.  However,
those who weren't there have some pretty wierd ideas about communes and
cooperative houses and such - and at this point that's most of the people
with young families!  So why frighten them off before they have a chance to
find out what cohousing is all about?

For me this isn't just an impression.  I know that what you're saying is a
fact.  Am I the only veteran of the counterculture of the late '60s and
early '70s who's on this list?  I call what I was then a "fringe hippie."
