This is what I ended up putting up on our web site after much back-and-forth
with other cohousers. I never *was* able to get it down to just one line.
"Cohousing developments are small residential housing complexes that are
specifically designed to foster social interaction and a close-knit sense
of community. The residents are involved in designing, building, and
running the community in a cooperative manner."
