I agree wholeheartedly. Cohousing relies on carefully graded steps from
private to neighbourly but not public. I associate public spaces with
graffiti, vandalism & indifference rather than inclusiveness & ambience.
Hence the idea of the kitchen rather than pooltables as central features of
successful cohousing.
