Here at Earthsong when we did our design programming and prioritised spaces
for the common house, we came up with the idea of a
TV-on-a-trolley-in-a-cupboard.(got the second-to-last priority!). So, we'll
have a mobile TV not requiring a dedicated space but which can be set up in
different spaces depending on the event. That will suit me well, as I choose
to have no TV in my home, but would like to watch the occasional item. And
it's going to require a certain amount of effort to set it up, discouraging
the flop-onto-a-couch-and-tune-out syndrome. I imagine it will be a
community focus at times, without becoming dominant. We'll see.

Where the first kitchen is going in today, all the timber joinery, floors
and beams are looking fabulous, first homes due for completion in 3 weeks,
and the sun is out for the first time in over a week! Life is good.
