Well, I really like the idea of a seperate media room that is not part of
the other common house facilities.  I really don't want a TV anywhere
visible  to the dining room or visible from other areas devoted to
socializing.  I think economies of scale can also come into play, I'll
settle for much less space dedicated to a television in my house if I have
access to a really good TV watching space in the common house.  Let see,
10 sq. ft. less/unit times 30 units adds up to a nice sized media room.

One other point I'd like to make is that the Central Texas Cohousing folks
(Robert is a member) are also talking about much larger common facilities
than most of the existing cohousing groups have.  It's one of the things I
find very interesting about them.
