Since cohousing is really my first use of the word consensus on a regular basis, I was unaware that it wasn't a "real" verb until my computer refused to see it my way. I just thought that it was another lame microsoft thing. Mea culpa. In my defense, I heard it used that way before I ever done used it wrong-like. My current favorites are "duck tape" and "you guys's" (pronounced guyses). Cold slaw is a perennial favorite. -- Liz Stevenson Southside Park Cohousing Sacramento, California tamgoddess [at] home.com http://members.home.net/southsideparkcohousing ---------- >From: Lynn Nadeau <welcome [at] olympus.net> > This old English teacher has finally stopped flinching when, upon coming > to consensus/reaching consensus, something is referred to as consensed > upon.
