Hello all,

During development, we heard from many that wished there was a way to try
out cohousing before committing to investing or buying.  We created a
short term (by the week or month) rental here to accommodate such folks.  
The rental will be available starting just after labor day weekend.  Here
is the "ad" for it:

Fully furnished and equipped one bedroom, ground-level 450 sq. ft. private
apartment for rent in a cohousing home.  Private entry onto shared
backyard and natural area.  Opportunities to participate in the 3 acre,
urban-residential, 23 home community which includes a large common house
with laundry, shop, craft studio, sunroom, play areas, decks, gardens and
three community meals per week.  18 children, 40 adults.  It's in West
Seattle near an arboretum, parks, the new Seattle Chinese Garden, the
beach and green spaces.  Quiet street near community college on sunny
southwestern ridge.  On busline to downtown.  10 mins. by car to downtown
Seattle.  No pets or smoking.  $235 per week or $700 per month (limit on
