Gary, In hindsight, I thought would it be wonderful to of had an interpersonal model at the onset of Cohousing, which presently, is an architectual model. And I believe in the future this will change. Check out the book: NonViolent Communication, by Marshall Rosenberg. It is a wonderful model of communication that reflects "power-with" not the several thousand year old model of "power-over." I live in a Cohousing community that is 8 years old -- Nyland in Lafayette, Colorado. It's hard after-the-fact to bring the model in after history which has not been healed, and I started this process. The sooner the better.
