When I was a child we had two outdoor cats. We got daily "gifts" on our
front porch and we upset our next door neighbor who felt that her bird
feeder and bath were acting as a lure for our furry friends.

We found these small bells shaped like cow-bells that we attached to their
collars. They lost their stealth and the harmony returned.

The pleasant side effect was we could always tell where our cats were and
the bell was almost like wind chimes.
