If you know of someone who would like to live in cohousing, but can't afford
it, or is afraid to make a large financial commitment without living in
cohousing first, we have a group house in Sharingwood that has an opening.
We believe that the occasional shared meals and activities in a group house
more closely reflect life in cohousing than a typical rental would. Members
of our house are also full members of Sharingwood cohousing. If you know of
someone who might be interested, please pass this on to them.
---------Do you think you might like to live cooperatively, joining us for occasional dinners and activities, and have your own private space too? We're a couple and a cat, living in the Sharingwood cohousing community just outside of Seattle. We're close to an amazing variety of cultural and educational centers, and surrounded by the natural beauty of forest, gardens, and creek.
Our house has four bathrooms, three bedrooms, guest room, two kitchens, two pantries, LAN, DirectTV, chemical-free hot tub, both wood and gas log stoves, and many other nice features. We'd like to share it with a single woman or a couple, 35 to 60 years in age. We're monogamous and omnivorous, and lean towards libertarianism and naturalism. We're sociable and easy to get along with.
Our house will be available to share mid-December, 2001, but you could live in the guest room until then. Living and financial arrangements are flexible. If this sounds interesting to you, please check out our web site, or e-mail or phone us for more information.
